However, lately, it has not only been about the beginning year that prophecies have leaned on. Simply put, most of the prophecies said about 2012 foresee destruction. That the world will be visited by Lord Himself and that there will be judgment and the end. The end, which has been experienced in a popular Bible story, has also been the beginning, for God issued orders about mankind and other forms of living things to be salvaged to reproduce a new race.
The 2012 prophecy comes of native tribes who spend a great deal of time observing the stars and understanding their scriptures, with different methods of predicting. Prediction is an old process that may use trivial things such as bones or objects close to that whose future it is being predicted. In the present days, not all of the predictions are true.
However, 2012 prophecies are not treated with leniency. In fact, they are given much important that their heightened proliferation has led to the creation of the movie which had summarized all the events of different predictions. Needless to say, because of the popularity of the predictions, the movie was a blockbuster hit.
There is no knowing which of the predictions are true, or if any of them is true at all. We can only hope that there is still more time for us to prepare ourselves for the coming end and that we will be able to live a life that has a fulfilled purpose. Even when the world is not going to end, each of us will experience a personal end when we leave earth, and if there is such a thing as an afterlife, it would be an achievement to look back into your life and know that you have lived it well.
